Yorkshire Terriers are non-shedding. Even though the Yorkie is well known
for their beautiful silken coat and for being loyal. They are quite the
fearless little watchdog, they have to be watched closely. Many a Yorkie has
met his demise by attacking a larger dog.
Yorkies adapt easily to any kind of living facilities. I know some truck
drivers that own a Yorkie and it rides in the truck with them. They live in
retirement homes with the elderly (where permitted) they can live in an
apartment or on a farm.
When considering a Yorkie, there is one more important thing to consider;
though the coat is pretty when it is long and flowing, it does require
brushing to keep from getting tangled.
