About the Breed

Did you know shih-tzu means lion?

The Shih-Tzu is a lively, alert toy dog, they have a long flowing double coat. (I prefer to clip mine close) they require brushing on a regular basis or they will get terribly matted.

Shih-Tzus come in many colors and sizes. A.K.C. standards states that they should weigh between 9-16 lbs. and stand between 9-11 inches tall. (Always having exceptions).  

I try to assist in the placement of the right puppy to the right household, suited for them and you.

They are a sweet little dog that will love you always and follow you everywhere.  

When choosing the shih-tzu remember the brushing or be prepared to have them clipped about two or three times a year.
