Hi Brenda , We are forwarding a new picture of Poppy (Canada) taken a few days before Christmas. She is doing really well. Loves her walks and playtimes, she has been on a few trips up north and was so good. It is seven hours to our son's house. She is about seven pounds now. Hope you had a wonderful day. Thank you so much for the picture! It's nice to put an email to a face :) and meet you and your husband as well! Dolce is adapting well! She is super sweet and quite the cuddler. I'm attached already and Gavin just adores her. She's still young but I am puppy pad training her and so far she's used the pads every time expect once! Hi Brenda, Willy turned a year old on Sept 1st and I wanted to share some of this birthday photos with you...as you can see, he is kinda spoiled but he is such a good boy we just can't help it! He is Claire's very best friend ...her latest nickname for him is "McFluffy." He is a very beautiful boy...so pretty that most people think he's a girl! ;o) We all love him so much!! Announcing the newest addition to our family! This is Willie Jaques, the sweetest puppy ever!!! Claire likes to call him Silly-Willy already! It was really nice to meet you and your husband too! We made it home before 11 and Willie did great coming home...no more sickness. He slept most of the way here and snuggled up under my chin...Claire was very jealous! After we got home, he ate a little bit and had some water and now we are trying to get some sleep, not that I expect to get much tonight. :o) Thank you so much Brenda...we are absolutely smitten...he is just so precious...even at 1:30 am! ;o) I will let you know how its going in a few days. Brenda, Thank you so much for our little blessing, Punkin! We made it home with NO car sickness & actually we spent quite a bit of time in the car on Saturday & he didn't get sick at all then either. What a blessing! He's done very well & has provided many smiles & laughs. He's a social buff as we had quite a few friends over last night & he was the center of attention and loved it! He knows no stranger, but when he's had enough of all the hands petting him, he leans in real close to me and doesn't move. Right now he's sitting under my office chair, close to my feet as always, enjoying a day at the office. He is eating really good and we're working on the potty training:) Again, thank you so much! We met Ryan and Pamela who traveled from N.C. while their 2 children were in school. (I bet it was hard for them to concentrate on their studies). Hi Brenda, Sorry for the delay, it has been a busy weekend. It was a pleasure meeting and talking with you and your husband on Friday. We have named the puppy Kaia (long I sound). The kids have been especially excited about having her here and the other dogs have welcomed her also. She is definitely a playful little thing. Her motor goes from 0 to 60 and right back to 0 in the blink of an eye. Pamela is spoiling her rotten already and I think she really likes it. Oliver - Dutchess Morkie Boy

Hi Brenda, We are doing wonderful! He is the most amazing, sweet, cute, and lovable puppy! We decided to name him Oliver. We cannot get enough of him, he is so smart and has so many human qualities, sometimes we forget he is a puppy! Potty training is going so great, he has only had 2 accidents off of the paper so far, and yesterday he walked over to his pad all by himself twice and today he has already walked to it 3 times. I'm so proud of him. It's almost unbelievable how well he is doing and how fast he is learning. We feel so blessed to have such a cute and wonderful little guy, thank you so much! We took him to the vet Friday, she said that he is very healthy and she couldn't get over how cute he is! She said that I have a great puppy and knows I'll be very pleased with him! I cannot thank you enough for Oliver, he is truly amazing. I'm definitely advertising for you! Everyone asks me where I got him and I tell them your website and talk very highly of you and your dogs and of course Oliver! Poppy has been a big hit in our neighborhood to say the least, she has been a wonderful and entertaining dog for all of us. These are some of the first haircut photos, she weights 6 lbs now. Hi Brenda, just checking in to let you know that Poppy has settled in very well. She is such a good girl. Yesterday she met our sons' dogs and played until she was pooped. She goes in her crate when she is tired all by herself and most of the time , she is going outside for us. Her accidents are us not being quick enough and timing her outsides. Our friends and family just love her--our grandson who is 10 just spent every minute with her yesterday. She loves the back yard and would stay out there for hours and did yesterday. We have taken pics but haven't had time to get them in the computer, we will send some along as soon as we do. Thanks again for our beautiful girl. Lyn and Ken

This is Ken and Lyn, with Poppy. They will be quite the traveling trio. The McMahan's stopped in to see Mommy before the pups were born, to let me know they wanted one and leave the deposit for pick of the litter. When the couple returned from Ireland, and after a short rest, they came to get their new family member. Poppy is going to live in Canada with this nice couple and who knows where she will go from there. June 2011

Blondie and Dagwood's last little guy left today, He went home with Stewart and Letitia, where he will be living in Frankfort Ind.

Brenda, Things are going great! We decided on Rufus Dunkin Shands, for his full name! His playmate, Deliliah, the bloodhound is getting along just fine. She is actually motherly with him. Don't worry you are not bothering us! Love hearing from you and if I have any questions I am hoping I will be able to e-mail you. I took Rufus to the vet today to get a puppy check, of course he was as healthy as a puppy can be! He is so loving and boy can he be a stinker! Mimi - Morkie

Hi Brenda, Mimi is doing great. She is so fisty it's so funny because she is so tiny. She will go potty on the potty pads but will not do #2 on it and I'm constantly cleaning my hardwood floors. What's the best way to potty train? Other than that she is great and I love her. I got her groomed at PetSmart on Saturday and they did a great job and everyone fell in love with her. I lost my camera's battery charger and I will be purchasing a new one and I will be sending you pictures this week. Thanks for everything:) Tahlia

Hi Brenda! I just saw Dagwood's and Blondie's new babies...they are precious! Just wanted to let you know what a joy Oki has been to our family...she is such a good girl and absolutely hilarious! I have attached a couple pictures.

Lucy - Cinnamon + Willie - Morkie Girl

Brenda, haven't emailed you in a while, wanted to update you with some pictures and info on Lucy. This picture is after a long day at the park & groomers. Lucy is now 7 months old, 2.5 Ibs. She is so wonderful! She loves people and almost has her potty training down pat! We love her so much!! She has the best personality!

Dec 2010: Brittany and A.J. came after Lucy. She will be living with them in La Grange also with Aubrey (daughter).

Vet was very very impressed with Lucy. And the care of her breeders. She is 1.4 Ibs. Nothing wrong and she didn't have worms. She goes back in 2 weeks for next round of shots. She is doing wonderful! We love her so much and she is so spoiled. She is doing very well on crate an potty training. Hope you all had a wonderful new years! We also got the paper work-thanks.

Denali - Morkie

This is Michelle R. she is from New Zealand. She and Denali will be living in Lexington. Who knows, someday he may go to live in New Zealand, if that happens, I want a postcard!

He's doing fantastic Stopped halfway home and he went potty - slept the whole way on my lap Took him to work and he met a lot of people He ate last night and this morning and I'm training him to go potty and poo both outside and also inside in bathroom on newspaper and he's been fantastic Slept all night till 2.30 - went potty and poo and went back to sleep until 6am! I'm spoilt if this is what he's like ... or could just be first night - ha ha ... either way he's precious. Super nice to meet you and definitely we'll stay in touch. Michelle Rayner

Gucci Rae Morkie

Just wanted to drop by and let you know how great Gucci is.. She now weighs a big 3 pounds. She loves to chew on everything that's in her sight or reach. Food has recently became her best friend, constantly sniffing for some kind! She is the most loving and most beautiful dog I have ever met. I couldn't have asked for a better dog with a better personality. She LOVES people. We always have a house full of guests so of course she is the first to greet them as they enter the door! She loves to play with whatever is closest to her. She is constantly going! Her and the cat have started playing together. Finally. She just annoys the cat a little too much. Lazy Cat and energetic puppy doesn't go so well together. We don't go to a store that we don't buy something for her.. She is living the spoiled life. Car rides are her absolute favorite. She loves to be on the go.. Her wardrobe gets larger everyday, along with her hair bow collection and I wouldn't change a thing about it ;) Everyone just adores her.. She loves attention and goes crazy if she doesn't get it! Pad training is going well for the most part; she still has a few accidents. But she is crate trained ! My dad is getting attached to her now.. after he was so upset about getting her. I would love to have another one in the future ;) We all just love her. Thanks again for everything. --Alex Daniels

Lucy Morkie

This is Teresa and Randy Pointer, they came after Lucy, she will be living in Hendersonville Tn.

Randy gave her some Eukanuba without any canned & she took one bite, spit it out & looked at him like you're crazy. Found some Wellness puppy food she liked, but can't find the small breed yet. We officially changed her name today to Lucy because she's so funny. She climbs me like a cat. When she puts her head in the bowl to eat or drink, one or more of her back feet come up. Nothing Gracie, or graceful about her, she's a Lucy! Her bed is called a "self warming bed" that is filled with something that keeps her toasty. When I get her out to play, she shivers so I took a stretchy chenille like sock & made her a sweater with neck & arms holes, it didn't even unravel. Somehow she got it off tho, she's squirmmy. :) Teresa

Laney Morkie

Thanks so much! She is doing really well. She ate all of her food last night and has already peep on the puppy pee pad twice and pooped! Everyone loves her! My family can't get enough of her! I'm so happy and can't thank you enough for selling her to me. :) I will be in touch after her vet appointment on Tuesday.

Brenda, Laney's vet appointment is today at 4:45p. Once I get back home I'll send you an email with everything the vet said. I have her at work with me today and she is doing so well! She is getting to play with everyone in the office here and she is currently taking an extra long nap. She is just so precious and everyone in the office loves her! My work is so great in that we get to bring our pets to work, so I might start bringing her to work with me once a week. I will be in touch later tonight! Jen

Pixie Morkie

Brenda....Pixie is doing quite well and has recovered from the trip home. She is already adapting quite well here and is quite the princess of our household. She now has a good appetite and plays hard and then sleeps a lot. I am sure she will bring Bonnie and I a lot of pleasure and companionship. We were quite surprised she immediately took to going potty on a disposable pee pad. Occasionally she misses a bit but we are quite proud of her because she is so smart. I feel Pixie can be easily trained; that is if we don’t spoil her, which is hard not to do. She sleeps through the night and really doesn’t awaken us but we check on her anyway. Of course when it stops raining and she gets a little older we will teach her to go outside to do her duty. I will attach a few photos I took this evening. Thank You Brenda and Scott. Tim and Bonnie

Hi Brenda, Piper had her last shots today which included her rabies vaccine. She now weighs 4 lbs. She is doing great. We took her to the lake Saturday and stayed the night. She did awesome. She slept with Frank and I on our air mattress. She was so good. I could not have found a better puppy. She is perfect. We all love her very much. We played tennis on Sunday. Piper chased the balls the whole time we played. She is quite the people magnet. Everyone that sees her wants to stop and pet her and take pictures. Piper is friendly and loves the attention. B-Bop Little Dancer Girl

Howdy! It has been over 2 years since we got Baby bop from you but I thought I would send you an update. She is the sweetest, smartest little thing you have ever seen!! Yes....I am a proud Mama and she is definitely my little "furbaby". I thought you might like some pictures of her so that people can see how the Morky's color changes. I know some request a certain color but the truth is, their color changes dramatically over the first year. Our little one finally hit 5 pounds at 2 years but that is only after a heavy snack....LOL. She is extremely small but very smart. I can't thank you enough for allowing us to adopt this beautiful girl.

Hi Brenda! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year; we certainly did partially because of you! Our new addition has been such a HUGE hit with everyone who meets her. She is the cutest little thing. She was crate trained in 3 days! Now she just goes in her crate on her own when she's tired....it's SO cute. She really is a smart little girl. She started going potty outside or on a puppy pad on command the first week we had her! Now...that doesn't mean we haven't had a few little accidents but she has started whining to go out in the past couple of weeks. She now knows how to sit and fetch. You can see the Yorkie in her....she loves to chew and bite but has already learned "No Bite". I'm attaching a picture from New Years; she was about 12 weeks old. Megan absolutely adores her and literally treats her like her baby....I'm "grandma" you know :) She named her "B-Bop" from the Baby Bop character from Barney because she "bops" all around the house. We'll keep you updated.

Rusty - Morkie Boy

This is Rusty morkie boy (Cinnamon + Willie). Denise and friend Michelle came to get Rusty. Driving through snow and slick roads. he went to live with Denise, Tommy, Graham and daughter Peyton, Rusty will be living in Louisville. Michelle and her family have a shiffon (Cruz) they got from me, over a year ago.

OMG Brenda they love this new puppy. We had a welcome party for him last night. We keep going back in forth on the name. Yesterday it was Rex, but we think as of today we are gonna call him Rusty (because he looks a little rusty in color). Rusty loves the kids and he is spoiled. He is now the king of the house. I will send you some pictures tomorrow. Thank you so much. The look on my sons face last night was priceless. Denise, Tommy, Graham and Peyton (girl) and now Rusty!

Kekipu Sparkles - Morkie Girl

This is "Kekipu Sparkles" (morkie girl of Cinnamon + Sir Willie). She left to go live in Mt. Juliet Tn. She will be living with Chris, Jessica, Madelyn, Jack, Nickolas and Ava, and their Cavlier King Charles Spaniel "Ruby".

Vivian is holding "Bailee" (morkie girl of Cinnamon + Sir Willie). Her husband is holding "Bella another morkie they got from me last Christmas. (That picture can be seen on my brag page, scroll down). Bailee will be living in Nicholasville.

Mae Boy - Yorkie

This is Mae's last little boy. He went home with Greg and Judy. He will be living in Southaven Mississippi.

Brenda, Thank you so much for sending the Pictures of the puppy. Had a smooth ride home and he did well. He loved looking out of the windows at the Big Trucks. Our big Lab is a little intimidated by him but the puppy loves playing with her. The cat loves him. When I get feeling back in my legs, I will send some Pictures LOL. Hello Brenda, Just wanted you to know that I am already in love with Sassy boy #3, who Chuck decided to name Miles, since he drove miles to get him. LOL!!!! Thank you so much for meeting him half way. I had him up on my computer all day looking at his picture and Chuck told me that he was going to call you after work to get some information about him before we decided whether or not to get him. I texted about 10 people the day before and told them to text Chuck and tell him that I needed this yorkie puppy for Christmas. When I got home from work yesterday Chuck surprised me with Miles and it was LOVE at first site. He is so loveable and playful. He is absolutely the most adorable yorkie I have ever seen. He has the best personality. He slept with me in the bed last night and has not even whined or barked, only growls a little when playing. He was very relaxed and seemed very happy. He will have a spoiled life. I do believe he was meant for me to have and love. I know he will fill my heart with happiness and I feel blessed to have him already. Dear Brenda, I just wanted to update you on Mr. Miles. He has really come out of his shy shell! He loves to play and is a wild man! LOL! We try to wear him out every night before bed. Chuck is teaching him how to sit and we are still working on “go potty outside”. He is learning well, but sometimes “boys will be boys”! Here are the Christmas pictures of Miles I promised to send. Hi Brenda Chloe is doing great!! My parents have been spoiling her while Brian and I were on the cruise. Honey

Brenda, Chad and I just wanted to check-in to let you know that we are incredibly happy with the latest addition to our family! Originally, we had thought that we would name our Morkie girl "Classy", but ever since we got her, we've called her "Honey", or as I like to call her, "Honey Bun." She has such a wonderful temperament and gives me a lot of company while I'm away at school. At 5 months, she is up to a whopping 3.5lbs, but she thinks she's ten feet tall and bullet proof; she even thinks she can overpower our neighbor's lab! During the day while I'm away in class, she stays in the bathroom, watches tv, and unrolls the toilet paper. No paper products are safe around Honey! We are still working on the whole potty training issue, BUT I think she is doing excellent for her age. I am extremely satisfied! Thank you so much! We love her all to pieces! ~Carly

We just wanted to let you know that we finally decided on a name for our new baby girl! We named her Maisey! She is doing really good. She is already rotten, of course, but we like it that way! She was shy at first, but now she is running around all over the house and playing a lot. We got her a crate to sleep in, but we think it was too enclosed for her and she cried. Our daughter has a baby doll crib that we let her sleep in and she likes that much better. Thank you so much for our new baby- the whole family is in love with her. Max - Morkie

Hi Brenda, Max did exceptionally well in the car he slept most of the way except for a short trip to Wal-Mart in my purse (he loved being in the store). We stopped to get him something to chew on we left his toys at home. Max is absolutely in love with my grandson Ricky he chased him all over the front yard. My son that was in the accident is doing much better thank you for asking. Both he and my husband instantly fell in love with Max. My other two dogs Oskar and Sabrina are taking awhile to get use to him; of course Max trying to get milk from Sabrina isn't helping. The three of them slept in our room last night (max in his crate) and they all went outside together this morning. I will continue supervised play for awhile until they are all use to each other. I will pass the word around about Max's surrogate brother. Thank you for the pictures they will be a nice memory. I will keep you posted on Max he seems to have adjusted well very little crying. She just learned how to go up and down our stairs a couple days ago and she is getting a lot better with her potty training (not that many accidents at all). Brenda, Hello! Took Miyuki to the vet today, she is a very health puppy. She weighed 1.5 lbs. she will go back in 2 weeks for more shots. We have ended up placing a bell on her collar because she likes to explore and hide under chairs or what every else she can find. Michelle is making a wonderful puppy parent, she takes her out on a regular basis and Miyuki is doing well with the training. She does not like sleeping in her crate though......lol. Brenda, As you can imagine, the kids were so excited when we pulled up. They absolutely LOVE her as expected but how can you not love her, she's beautiful and going to be really spoiled. The ride home went perfectly. Of course I kept her on my lap the entire way and we only stopped once for a pit stop for all of us. She didn't go but we gave her some water anyway. She then held it in until we arrived home at 6pm and as soon as we put her down outside she went potty. It was great. We then fed her and a little while later she went both outside. We were very impressed. According to the bag of food it looks like we should feed her about 1/2 cup twice a day - does that sound right for now? She ate almost all of it immediately and only left a few little niblets. I did add a tiny bit of warm water to it to make it softer. Not sure if I should but I did. Well we took lots of pictures and I will send them in a few minutes after they download. Thank you for everything and you can be sure she'll be well-cared for. I'll be in touch. Michele

Brenda, Bella just went to the vet on Monday for her 12 week shot and had a clean bill of health. YAY!! She is adjusting very well. She is having very few accidents in the house. She had 2 accidents yesterday, but she really doesn't like to go out in the rain...she is a little princess. She already has quite the collection of clothes and hair bows. I took some really cute pictures of her, but I haven't uploaded them onto the computer, because I misplaced the camera, somewhere in this house.. lol. As soon as I find it, I will send some to you. She's doing great on the pee pee pads as well. When I see her looking like she wants to use the bathroom I call her name and point to the pad and she prances right over there and uses it. Nina - Papillon

Hey Brenda, I thought I would let you know how Nina is doing. We have had her for about four weeks now. Since then, Amanda has returned to school so she is alone until Amanda gets home. She is a wonderful dog and we love every minute we have with her. Amanda is so happy to have this little girl and Nina absolutely adores her. She is a feisty little ball of energy at times but she can also be very sweet and loving. All the neighbors lover her. Sometimes she likes to get on the bottom shelf of our baker's rack in our kitcen and stick her face in the air conditioning. Our beagle, Lucky, is doing fine. We're still working on them to get along,but only time will tell. She goes to get her 12 week shots on Wednesday and she weighs a whole 2.2 lbs. Thank you so much for a wonderful dog! Hey Brenda, We had our first Vet visit and according to her, he's perfect and I couldn't agree more!! We absolutely love him, he's a perfect addition! My boyfriend and I don't have any kids but we have another Shiffon who loves him! They are soo adorable when they play together! He wasn't too much of a mess when we got him at the airport, it was a long flight and it was delayed so he had been sitting for quite some time. He must have just went to the bathroom and then been being the plane was moving he kinda got tossed in it but nothing a quick bath couldn't fix! We have decided to name Dexter and we think it fits; he tries to be a lil tough guy, barking at other dogs and its the cutest thing! Just wanted to update and thank you again! Maritza

Dear Brenda and family, Gilligan and I have moved back to my hometown of Evansville, IN so he can be around his aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. He recently celebrated his first birthday on August 22 (also his grandpa’s birthday). He celebrated with grilled chicken, a special scoop of puppy ice cream, some new dog treats, a new toy, and two walks instead of one! I think he’s going to be a hockey player. When he’s finished eating his food, he uses his nose to scoot his dish like a hockey puck around the legs of the kitchen table and chairs. If not a hockey player, he may become a engineer. When I’m gone, he is kept in my kitchen with a baby gate. He has figured out how to move his crate across the kitchen to the gate, jump on top of the crate, and peek over. My family loves all 6.2 lbs. of him (no, he’s not overweight…just much taller than we expected). Thanks so much for a happy, healthy puppy! I’ll keep you posted. Brenda, I just wanted to tell you how wonderful Derby is. He will be a year old this Saturday, August 22nd and is a whopping 3.3 lbs. He is such a sweet dog! I lost my father in March and Derby was a huge comfort. He stayed right with me. I really think he knew I was sad and needed extra love. He's the best dog ever--so smart, lovable, and cute! He loves to fetch his toys and chew on plastic lids. Every time I open a soft drink he thinks he should have the lid. He will chew on it for a while and then toss it away only to chase after it again and again. If he loses a toy under the furniture he will come and get you by barking until you follow him to the lost toy. He will then scratch at the spot until you get the toy for him. How smart is that!!! Derby loves to be around people. He just loves everyone, even my baby niece that pulls his ears! Ouch!!! Everywhere we go he gets (and loves) all the attention. I have taken him shopping many, many times and he loves it. My husband says Derby would be happy anywhere as long as he was with me. He has been to UT football games, UK football games, Rock City in Chattanooga, TN, and we are getting ready to take him to the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville, KY. He loves to travel and be with us so much that he has learned our daily routine and knows when we are getting ready to leave home. He will go and get in his doggie bag, as I call it, if he thinks we are leaving. His favorite place to go is to our lake house in TN --as you can see in the picture he's always ready for a day at the lake. We are so happy with Derby and we think he is happy with us too! He follows me all over our house and when I am not available he will find my husband or my son. His favorite place to be is in one of our laps. When I first asked my husband about getting a dog he wasn't too thrilled with the idea, but now he loves Derby as much as I do. Brenda, I wanted to follow up to let you know that we arrived back home safely. We stopped just about 130 miles from home and stayed overnight at a hotel. The girls were tired and ready to be off the road. We got here early the next morning. Layla did so wonderful on the trip, she was easy, didn't get sick, but only ate a little. She slept straight thru the evening and only got up at 5:30am to go outside for potty. Thank you again for such an adorable little puppy. The care you and your family gave her is obvious and we thank you for that. We had a great day today and she's getting used to everyone here and her new house. Just wanted to let you know we FINALLY named our puppy on Sunday. Her name is Winnie. So far, she has been an amazing dog!! She seems to really have the pee pad thing down. We are crating her and she is doing a remarkable job with that! All in all, she is wonderful. My neighbors cannot believe how sweet and tolerant she is with the little kids!!
Keaton and Eliza (our kids) are thrilled to have a puppy in their family. It has been our routine thus far to go and meet my husband on his walk home from work. Thus far, Winnie has done a fabulous job with her walks. It is amazing just how far she can go before she tires out. She even musters up enough energy to give the kids a fun run in the backyard.
Here are a couple of pictures from Winnie's first week. Thanks for sending us such a sweet and loving dog. It's amazing to think we bought a puppy sight unseen (especially with young children.) However, Brenda, you did a fabulous job describing Winnie's demeanor and personality. Her gentle and loving demeanor says a lot about you as a breeder. Thanks again.

Hello Got a good pic. Kallie and I were waiting in her training class Monday night and she was so calm and relaxed, thought I had a different dog. I had one of the ladies there to take our pic. Thought you would like this and use it on the website if you like. There are 4 other puppies in this class and all of them would either be barking or weeing on the floor. Kallie was a wonderful little girl. She is learning different commands, but still working on that leash and potty thing. On the way home she fell asleep I'm sure she was tired. Hi Brenda, sorry I had not written to you earlier, but between the puppy and everything else. It's been pretty busy around here, which is a nice change of pace. I wanted to update you on the male Papillon now named "Ciel" -he's doing absolutely fantastic, and healthy according to the veterinarian. I truly thank you for the time you kept me updated on him with info and images. That said, now that he's here, I'm amazed how intelligent he is and how fast he catches on. Moreover, we introduced him to our other dog and he absolutely adores her, he gets really happy every time he see's her, even if she's just passing by the bed where he's resting or sleeping. We also took him to the pet store the other day and oddly enough, you don't see or hear too much of Papillon's where I'm located, and so I had half the pet store asking about him and just showing so much affection for a puppy they just met. Anyway, I will continue to update you on him as time passes by. I've attached a picture of him, and as you can see, he's very photogenic, he poses every time I take a picture of him, it's so adorable! I thank you again for everything and If anyone is ever looking for a puppy, you're the first person I'll point them to. - Edith

Hi, I thought I would write you to give you an update on Gilbert (Sylvia's boy). Sorry I haven't sent you anything for a while but my computer was down. I took Gilbert for his first grooming yesterday and he did great! He looks like a brand new puppy. He is getting along great with the whole family, even the cat! We've been working on some tricks. He now knows how to sit and speak on command. He's definitely my favorite Christmas present. If we ever decide to get another one or if I find someone that wants a puppy I will definitely let you know. Gilbert has a great personality. He likes to follow me around everywhere, he's my little furry shadow. I've attached a new picture of him from 02-21-09 so you can see him now. We'll keep in touch.

Guero, of Dutchess and Jasper, is the best puppy ever. He is pretty much housebroken, although sometimes it can be difficult to walk him because almost every person that passes him wants to stop and pet him. He is a little celebrity here in South Beach, Miami. There are a few other morkies on the beach, but he is the cutest by far! I only have to teach him something a few times, and he has got it. He is the smartest puppy I have ever met, and just like you said, he loves to play. He loves the mini stuffed toys with the squeakers, he squeaks them all about the place. If I get him a little friend to play with, I would definitely get her from you! Thank You Again!

Hi, Brenda!
I hope you are having a wonderful New Year so far! I wanted to write and let you know that Zeus' first week with the Johns family has been great! The first day was a little shaky for him with all of the transition. But he's eating and sleeping well now, and he has LOTS of energy to play! We are working on housetraining him and teaching him not to bite. Fortunately, his little mouth isn't strong enough to hurt yet, but he loves to play bite. With hopes of having children within the next year or two, we want to ensure he learns not to bite hard even when playing! I wanted to ask you a few questions, so here goes:
-How often do you typically bathe your yorkies?
-Do you have your puppies go potty inside or outside?
-How much food do your yorkies typically eat?
Zeus got a clean bill of health at the Vet last Tuesday and we will be going back in a few weeks for his next round of shots. Tim and I got a book all about Yorkshire Terriers to learn about their history and of course the best ways to train him. He has taken to us very well and he is definitely very loved! :)

Thanks for your reply. What you said about how yorkies eat is so true...Zeus likes to take a piece of food, run a bit, then go back to the bowl for another piece. It's really funny to watch. Even though I've given him food four times a day, he really only eats it three times a day so I think I will cut down to three scheduled times each day.
We DEFINITELY will have Zeus on a leash anytime he's outside. We have taken him to the pet store, and of course the vet, and we always use a leash. We've also used it inside the house to get him used to walking around with it on. I can't say that he loves it, but he's adjusting. :)

Snickers is a Dutchess Morkie Boy

Hi Brenda-
I wanted to check-in with you to let you know that Snickers is still doing great! I adopted him from you in September. I have attached a few pictures so that you can see how he's doing. When I took him to the Vet two days after his adoption, he weighed 1.6 lbs. He is now a whopping 4.2 lbs :) He is doing very well, and is a very happy doggy. He goes to Doggy Daycare Monday - Friday during the day when I'm at work so that he can get all of his energy out during the day, as well as have the opportunity to socialize with other dogs. He was just neutered on yesterday, so he is trying to get used to the cone that is around his neck. Other than that, the Vet is still talking about how healthy he is and that I lucked out on getting a great puppy! We often say that he has "Napoleon" syndrome. He is so small and actually does not like to play with small dogs! His favorite are Labs and other large size dogs that attend his daycare. It's so funny, because they give me pictures of these large dogs turning on their backs & submitting to him! It's hilarious. Have a great weekend, and I am sure I will send you some pictures every few months. Thank you again!

Gilligan - Morkie - Lady Maltese and Jasper Yorkie are his parents

Dear Brenda and family,
Thank you so much for the wonderful gift you gave us. Gilligan is doing very well, and he has developed such a personality! He traveled to Evansville, Indiana to meet my family for Christmas, and he got along well with everyone. He certainly gets spoiled because everyone thinks he is the cutest thing in the world. My relatives all thought it was funny that he barks like he's really tough, even though his bark sounds more like a duck's quack. Gilligan has several stuffed animal toys and loves playing "Morkie in the Middle" with his ball. However, despite all the toys we've gotten him, he seems to get the most enjoyment out of playing with his empty food bowl! Go figure! He also gets very excited when we give him his Kong. He'll lay down with it and lick the paste out of it in one sitting until his little tongue can't get anymore out of it! We jokingly call him Snoopy sometimes, too, because he spends most of his time ON TOP OF his crate, just like Snoopy did on top of his doghouse. From the time we brought him home, he was fascinated with the top of the crate and tried to hop up on top of it. It used to be too high for him, but now he leaps up there effortlessly a thousand times a day to chew on a toy, take a nap, or simply stand still and pretend he's taller than he really is! We got him a tiny blue dog sweater when it started getting cold outside, and he wore it to PetSmart when we took him to get his picture taken with Santa. Gilligan's vet said that he couldn't be healthier, and we know that you have a lot to do with getting him started out on the right foot (or paw, as the case may be!). For that, we are so grateful. We love him so much and can't imagine life without him anymore. He constantly makes us laugh. We hope his brothers, Chipper and Derby, are doing as well as he is doing in their new homes. Thanks again for taking such great care of Gilligan, for being so quick to respond to any questions we had during the adoption process, and for providing such a clean and accommodating environment for him to begin his life.

Hi There!!!!!Hope all is well there. Hercules is doing so good. He is such a character. He loves to snuggle in his blanket and at night he cries until you rock him a little then he sleeps all night. Spoiled already lol. He went to the vet on Monday and the vet said he looked good. He weighed in at 3lbs 1 oz. He is such a sound sleeper. And all my dogs love him. Hey! he is doing amazing. My parents love him & my sister didn't want us to leave with him when we came back to school. The potty training! She goes every time I take her out and we have the puppy pads for when we are gone. I think she will do fine if we help her. Some people think 6 weeks is too young to start but I think she’s doing good. My husband and I both were impressed with how well everything looked. He said he’d never seen a kennel that clean before.

We just wanted to tell you how much we have enjoyed the puppy so far. We decided to name her Baylee. She is so sweet and very, very rambunctious. She is definitely a lot of fun. She loves playing with Ginney (our poodle) and Ginney is starting to come around to Bailey. I couldn't be happier with her and I thank you so much for her. I love her dearly! Her adorable little face makes my heart melt. I have attached a picture of her so you can see her in her new home. I think she is very happy here. We will definitely keep you updated on her. Morkie Boys - Mr. Prescott and Montemorency

Hi Brenda,
I wanted to send you some pictures of the boys and tell you how wonderfully they are doing but they would not sit still. I fully understand what you meant when you spoke of taking pictures of puppies, especially two Morkies that are having too much fun to pose! I will try again later. I wanted to thank you and your wonderful family for the warm and very nice experience of the PUPPY Quest on July 4th! The puppies have been to see their vet and she gave them an A+! They are so smart that they are almost potty trained (as much as their youth will allow) and they are a great pleasure. I would happily recommend you to anyone seeking a puppy. My puppies are not only healthy but wonderfully socialized and happy, easily adaptive to people and new situations. I do not think that is something that you would get from a traumatized puppy from a pet store! Our puppies came from a real home and they want to tell Mom Pearl and Daddy Rufus that they are doing well in Nashville TN! I hope I can get some pictures soon. Mr. Prescott checked in at 1.7 pounds to Monte 2.5 but he can pin his brother and has earned the honorarium "Toy Soldier" but he is growing so fast that I wonder.. I love the qualities of the Yorkshire and Maltese mix!

Yorkie Boy - Yogi

Hey Brenda. It's Temi. Yogi is doing great. I got him from you on Wednesday and by Friday he was potty trained. He was using the bathroom in his training pad all on his own. He's is a great puppy. He's full of energy, but always very calm. He takes long naps and he's eating and drinking well. I absolutely love him and so does everyone else that runs into him. He pretty much has the potty training down, he has already been walking to it on his own... and he doesn't even whine at night...But we still aren't sure on a name but we are thinking Sampson...But I will keep in touch and keep you informed on him, and send you pictures as we get them!..but thanks again for everything.

Hi, Brenda! I’m sending you Bobby’s (Bobby Rhodes—named after his father, Baby Rhodes) 5-month-old picture. He was born September 13th and we picked him up from you during Thanksgiving break. You may remember that I told you he vomited 6 times on the way home (smiles!). Even though he still is inclined to be car-sick (He vomits on the 4-mile trip to the vet’s office—more smiles!), my husband and I love him a lot. He is sweet natured and “almost” house broken. Dear Brenda, I just wanted to let you know that we are absolutely in love with and enjoy our puppy. We have named her Maggie. She plays with my son everyday. Brenda, Just wanted to let you know that Bailey is adjusting very well to her new home. We stopped by the pet store on the way home and picked her up several things. I can guarantee that she will be sooo unbelievably spoiled. She has already taken a big liking to Tilly. She tried to nurse on Tilly and Tilly had to let Bailey know she didn't like it. Other than that, you can tell they get along really well. Bailey is always looking for Tilly and Tilly watches out for Bailey. This is Ann Wilson, she is holding Tovenaar, he is a rough coated Brussels Griffon. Rosie and Dagwood are his parents. Tovenaar participated in the A.K.C. dog show recently held in Louisville Ky. Take note of the Ribbons: He came away with Best- in-Breed and participated in Best-in-Show. Watch for Ann and Tovenaar in the future events. Who knows!!!

Hi Brenda! We got the puppy last night just fine…thanks for working it out for us! My daughter has named her Boo, and she is an active little thing! We finally heard her bark when we put her in her cage to go to bed. Thanks again for all of the help and information that you have given us so far! We are so happy to have Boo! I have really struggled with his name. I called him Little Boy so long that it is what he responds to, so I guess it's Little Boy Barkley.
